Most questions are answered in the Spiral Breath+ Help Centre — getting started, subscriptions and restoring purchases, Breath Lock and the microphone, sharing exercises, sigils, and safe practice.

Write about anything — a problem, a question, or something you'd like the app to do.

Messages are answered first by our support assistant, which draws its answers from the Help Centre. If it can't help, or if you'd rather speak to a person, it hands the conversation over to us.

What helps us answer quickly

Things people ask before writing in

I subscribed, but the app still shows Free

Go online and tap Restore Purchases, on the upgrade screen or under About → Subscription. Then close the app fully and reopen it.

The most common cause is being signed in with a different Apple ID than the one that paid. Check Settings → [your name] → Media & Purchases.

I want to cancel, or I'd like a refund

Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple, not by us — so cancellations happen in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, and refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

We can't cancel or refund a subscription on your behalf. Apple doesn't give us that access.

There's no account, and no password

Spiral Breath+ has no sign-up and no login. Your practice history lives on your iPhone rather than on a server, which means there's nothing to lock yourself out of — and also nothing we can look up or restore for you from our end.

Is the microphone recording me?

Breath Lock listens through the microphone to follow your breathing during a session. That audio is processed on your iPhone and isn't uploaded, stored or sent anywhere. You can practise with the microphone turned off — the session runs normally, and your score is based on timing and completion instead.

The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Which devices does it run on?

Spiral Breath+ is an iPhone app. There's no iPad or Apple Watch version, and no Android version yet.

Practising safely

Spiral Breath+ is for general wellbeing and relaxation. It isn't a medical device and it doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent anything.

Breathe gently and never to the point of strain. If you feel lightheaded or uncomfortable, stop and return to normal breathing. If you're pregnant, have a heart or respiratory condition, or any medical condition affected by breathing exercises, speak to a doctor before practising — and if you have a medical concern, please talk to a qualified clinician rather than to us.
